Artist's Biography

Associate of Music - Mount Aloysius College (1973), BS Music Education and Percussion - Indiana University of PA (1975)
Masters Degree in Music - University of Notre Dame (1977).

Since 1978 I have worked in the music industry, specifically in percussion. In 1983 I joined Ludwig Musser in a marketing capacity and I\'ve been here ever since.

In addition to being an active gigging percussionist, drummer & jazz vibes player, I also have conducted several clinics. My clinic specialty is teaching concert percussion techniques from battery, mallets and percussion accessories. I have conducted clinics at The Midwest Clinic (2001, 2006, 2012), Texas Music Educators (2009), Pennsylvania Music Educators (2007), American Band College (2003, 2006, 2013), Conn-Selmer Institute (1998 - 2013) etc. From 1999 - 2002.

Another passion is conducting percussion workshops for kids called \"Drums Around the World.\"

I served on the Board of Directors of The Percussive Arts Society.

Honors:
PAS President\'s Music Industry Award 1998.
Midwest Music Industry Award 2010.

I have also had the opportunity to record with The Keystone Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Jack Stamp.
